DACA: Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or Obama’s pre-DREAM Act. This granted some undocumented youth a two-year reprieve from deportation, along with temporary work authorization. More than 150,000 immigrants have been granted deferred action.

Deportation – Removal Proceedings: This means that the United States Government intends to deport you from the United States. These proceedings can be initiated due to various reasons including, overstaying a visa; entry using fraudulent documents; arrests and/or convictions for misdemeanors or felonies.
